Welcome

WE-2Bs (Version 3)

If you have been reading this blog prior to October 2019 you might recognize from the above photograph that we now have a different motorhome. We now have WE-2Bs version 3. It is a 2017 Tiffin Allegro Bus 40 SP. I have been wanting a Allegro Bus for over two years now but have been trying to fight off that “fever” but finally gave into the desire. This motorhome rides and drives wonderfully and has a lot of new technology and a much different floor plan that we really like. It is physically just a few inches longer than our Phaeton motrohome but basically the same size. Our Phaeton (WE-2Bs version 2) was a good motorhome and we saw a lot of this beautiful country traveling in it.

WE-2Bs (Version 2)

Hello, my name is We-2Bs. I am a 2006 Tiffin Phaeton 40' motor home.

This site will primarily be used to chronicle my travels with my new owners. After a hiatus of over 25 years they began camping again in the summer of 2010 after selling a vacation home. They camped from the time their son was a little baby until he was in his teens. They started out like lots of other young campers with a tent and spent many weekends camping and enjoying  the outdoors. But after a 21 day trip with family to Texas to visit other family they sold the tent and purchased a popup Apache camper. The popup served them well for many years but they moved up to an 18' travel trailer(TT). Mind you this was before the travel trailers had all the current day features. It was basic, with two beds, a dinette area, small stove and a hand pump to pump water into a small sink. But there weren't any canvas sides to worry about when it rained.

The travel trailer was sold and over the next 25 year they went through 3 different vacation homes. But when the property taxes got so excessive, the last property was sold in the Summer of 2010 and a 25' modern TT with one slide out was purchased. They thought they were set for many years of camping again with this TT. After 3 months and several trips they got the fever for a motor home(MH). Again they thought they were finally set, so a few upgrades were performed and they were really enjoying the MH. After using it for 11 months they BOTH got the fever for something a little nicer with a few other features. He wanted something that drove and rode a little better and quieter and she wanted more kitchen space. Everyone they talked to said to get a diesel pusher. Again a search began and that is when they found me. I had all the features they wanted. I am a 2006 Tiffin Phaeton 40' TSH with three slide outs, 50 AMP, lots of storage, a larger kitchen area, computer table, free standing dinette table, split bathroom and two vanities so now he has his own vanity. And I drive and ride so much better than their prior gas engine model and my ride is great and soooo much quieter. So my owners are finally Happy Campers. My prior owners had to sell me due to health reasons, so I am happy to have new owners that take good care of me and have built me a nice barn to let me rest in when I am not taking them camping.
